Are you a specialist or a generalist, and how does that impact your business?

I’d say I’m a bit of both, but I lean toward being a generalist, which has a unique impact on my business. As a generalist, I have a broad understanding of different areas—product, marketing, sales, and development—which allows me to see the business from multiple angles and make more informed decisions. This approach is especially helpful in running Planyway because it enables me to connect dots across functions, identify opportunities, and adapt quickly. Being a generalist also means I can step in where needed and provide support across teams. However, I rely on specialists within the team to dive deep and drive expertise in critical areas. This balance between breadth and depth helps us stay agile, continuously improve, and bring innovative solutions to our users.
