Our app idea originated from a Discord bot and currently it is the majority of our userbase. Stock & crypto traders seem to prefer Discord over Slack, not sure why- perhaps due to the average *retail* trader's age being significantly younger (15-30) than the average age (40+) of wall street traders.

Hey! We’re launching in late April or the start of May. We're trying to build our community in FB, IG, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit. Still working on all of the channels but we'll be ready by the time we launch!

At SigmaOS we also have a slack used predominantly for user feedback and bug reports with the occasional giveaway/competition. If you want to check it out for inspiration (sigmaos.com/community). I got on the slack but I am not exactly sure what the goal is

1. Our Slack - trying t build a community with our current and future users that are using APIs in their everyday. Sharing experience, asking questions on how to monitor and manage APIs.

2. The goal for this question - just wanted to see if someone else is building a community around their product, so thank you for sharing. :) Also, maybe an opportunity to shout that you have one and if someone finds your topic interesting they might want to join in.

@kmelaika Sounds good. Be careful of overextending yourself, although it's fine if you are in testing phase to determine where is the most of your audience coming from. Best of luck with the launch ;)

Right now we are building our community mainly with our users (Treblle users). They get an email invite.
