Are you building in public? What does that look like?

There are a lot of different ways to build a product in public. You can leverage Twitter, messaging, Reddit and other platforms. Have you decided to build your product in public and what channels are you using to do so? For Rock, we're using our own platform to create an internal community where we gather user feedback, bug reports, but also announce product updates and new campaigns. If you're curious what that looks like you can join through the link below! šŸ‘‰ Visit: https://space.new/w/1o2wzxo šŸ” Use pin 8c4qae2bx5 to enter.

We've been sharing updates on our product and team on LinkedIn, and have a public roadmap set up in Notion (www.collabwriting.com/roadmap). I'm not sure if that qualifies as building in public, but we're trying to share useful info about our journey and what we're building regularly šŸ˜„

@sandra_idjoski This looks cool! How do people typically interact with the news with your team? i.e. on Twitter, internal channels or somewhere else? + how do you deal with changes (for example, a delay in a release?)

@nicolaas_spijker We've had most of our communication go through email, however, we are thinking of adding something more community-friendly into the mix

@sandra_idjoski Nice! We are actually running some initiatives that help teams build more synchronous community channels (with messaging, etc) for free. If you're curious to learn more you can connect with me through this link: https://space.new/nicolaas/
