Are you guys more inclined to fully test out a product if it has a free trial?

Yes unless its under $20 then I would happily pay to test it.

Depending on the my perceived value on what the product will gives me. If it's a product that value doesn't show immediately, I don't mind paying first because I know it takes time to show. If it's a simple product (good example: Calendly) I'd prefer to try it out first then commit. Mainly because if it's so simple I wonder what value paying them will give me.
