As a Product Manager, how difficult it is to align your team and how you do it?

Hi!
When you work on a product company, it's always difficult to align everybody.
Different roles, viewpoints, and strengths can pull your team in different directions.
Team members can get so focused on their particular goals that they don’t see the bigger picture, creating conflicts and delays.
How do you manage it?

Launching soon!
Not a PM myself, but from my experience how my past PMs handled it:
- Regular weekly meetings with the team -> try to talk about the goals regularly.
- Have tech leads, or more senior engineers talk about the goals and bigger picture in 1:1s with other engineers .
- Include involved engineers in meetings with stakeholders or product users so they understand better what they're building and for who.

The difficulty usually comes from balancing different priorities, perspectives, and timelines. People on the team might have different goals, whether it’s developers focused on tech, designers on user experience, or marketing on launch dates. To get everyone on the same page, I focus on clear, consistent communication and setting shared goals. I make sure everyone understands the why behind the product, not just the what and how. Regular check-ins, prioritization, and transparency about progress are key to keeping everyone aligned. And of course, being flexible when things change helps keep the momentum going without losing sight of the bigger picture.
