Depends. With a low viewership, pay per view revenues will be small, but Ad revenues will be smaller. As the viewership base goes up, specialised ad revenue streams open up - sponsorships, promotions, placements. At really large viewerships, ad revenues and sponsorships will become much higher than pay per view as with regular media websites
