Get plenty of rest before launch day so you're ready to hustle nonstop! Also don't forget to have your social media posts and email announcements queued up and ready to go. The prep work makes a huge difference. Good luck!
I appreciate growth hacks that focus on engaging communities. For me, building relationships in discussions has always been more effective than direct promotion.
@oliver_hayes i really like real direct communication too, rather than broad, generic promo content
For me, launch day isn't about prefection, it's about momentum. Keep pushing forward, and don’t be afraid to learn and adapt from feedback as you go.
@logan_king i agree. i think you can win product hunt but still not get much from it IF you are not focusing on the right things. Whats most important is real traction.
I’d recommend planning some form of celebration for your team at the end of launch day. A little recognition can go a long way in keeping spirits high.
@lucas_parsons Good idea! Didnt do that last time
Regarding launch day, I always suggest preparing a set of FAQs. It saves time and helps address concerns quickly.
@macauley_quinn quick responses really help engagement
"One of the best pieces of advice for launch day is to stay focused and be prepared to engage with your audience in real-time. The first few hours after the launch are crucial, so make sure you and your team are ready to respond quickly to any questions or feedback. This helps build momentum and shows that you’re active and involved. Also, remember that things might not go perfectly, but it’s important to stay calm, solve issues as they arise, and keep the excitement going. Good luck with your launch—stay energized and keep your team aligned!"
@lisna_agustian love this advice thanks!
The best single piece of advice for **launch day** is:
### **"Prepare for the unexpected, but focus on delivering an exceptional user experience."**
Launch day is often filled with surprises, whether it’s technical issues, unexpected feedback, or traffic spikes. Here’s how this advice breaks down:
1. **Prepare for the Unexpected**:
- Test everything thoroughly in advance, but understand that issues might still arise. Have your team ready to handle technical problems, customer queries, and anything that comes up.
- Monitor performance, website uptime, and customer interactions actively.
2. **Focus on User Experience**:
- **Ensure your users have a smooth, positive experience** from the moment they engage with your product or service. This includes an intuitive interface, clear messaging, easy navigation, and quick support.
- Prioritize customer feedback. If you’re interacting with early adopters, they’ll be your best source of insight. **Respond quickly** and iterate where possible.
On launch day, the pressure is high, but your goal should be to deliver **value** and maintain **calm**—especially in front of your first users. Their perception of your product and how well you handle any bumps will set the tone for the future.
