In your opinion, what works best when contacting a client for the first time? Is it asking what they thought about your email or going right into the details or having multiple go's before they respond? Let me know what you think is the best approach

If your brand has been established it's time to start calling your prospect. However, if your brand is not yet established an initial email usually makes more sense.

@dsarkar Absolutely, but it also comes down to whether you feel that the company will take time out of their schedule to listen to you.

I think it really depends on the goal. Usually there is not just one best way and a strategy that utilizes personalized email and calling is most effective. Keep in mind multi channel touches that are relevant for your ideal customer profile.

@airbuild_consulting Some companies are on completely different platforms and can really put a stop to the email copy paste strategy! Good point :)

1. Think of tone on a spectrum. 2. Use positive language. 3. Be brief but not much so they don't get bored.

@zayn_shah All valid tips. I like the "tone" thought specially.

Smile when you first meet the client, to let them know that you are happy to see them and excited about the prospect of working together. Make eye contact, give a firm handshake, and listen intently when the client is speaking with you.

@brandon_montagne If they have already agreed to meet you face to face, that is already a great sign of interest.
