Building in public - appealing to a non-Tech audience

I'm ramping up to begin my "build in public" journey and trying to nail down a strategy that’s appealing to my customers (non-Technical). Most "build in public" examples I’m finding are SAAS companies attracting other aspiring SAAS builders. Anyone have examples of current builders building in public and attracting their target customers to follow along that are not tech or SAAS savvy?

I think it's appealing to anyone, since humans basically like to hear the story of other people's journey. Specially when they're a customer of your product/service. So the only thing you may wanna do is to be wherever your customers are. If they're more present in Facebook, make sure you post your stuff there as well.

In your case, I'd try to address their pain points and offer them value (a solution to their problem). For this, it's good to have a well-defined buyer persona. Also, I'd create content that will resonate with them (educative, fun, or helpful, depending on the product and the strategy). I'd also prepare a waitlist and give them a reward for signing up. This can be for example a discount, early access... Hope this helps!
