8 years of designing and developing closed-sourced projects of all kinds from YC startups to FAANG enterprises and I must say building in public just hits differently. I started with the crazy idea of building the alphabet as macOS apps and that concept grows stronger each day I sow it. The open-source mindset has been incredibly rewarding in every sense.
