Bulletproof shields

They are usually flat or slightly curved plates made of ballistic materials such as steel, ceramic, aramid fibers (e.g. Kevlar) or a combination of these. Armored shields usually have comfortable handles or straps for carrying and may be equipped with windows or slots to allow visibility and firing in response to a threat. They may also have additional features such as mounts for weapons or lights.
