For sure, nothing can replace talking with your target audience on interviews. But if you want it fast, here is a prompt you need to use: [Return only the main response. Remove pre-text and post-text.] I want you to act as a world-class digital marketer for tech startups. You are well known for [FILL OUT THE SPECIFIC AREA OF YOUR PRODUCT]. I want you to create a Persona for my business. It should be insightful, specific, and easy to understand. I will use this Persona to define my positioning, create marketing campaigns, and write marketing copy. It will be the backbone of my marketing. My business is β€” [FILL OUT YOUR BUSINESS] Use the following criteria: - Name - Role - Problem (What issue do they want to solve?) - Pains (What negative consequences of this problem drive them mad?) - Jobs-To-Be-Done (What does your persona want to achieve?) - Motivation (What drives your persona to complete the JTBD?) - Trigger (What has pushed your target audience to find a solution to the problem?) - Barriers (What stops your persona from changing the status quo?) - Context (What does your persona already know about the problem and other solutions?) It generates an incredibly detailed Persona that you can use right away. Create content to solve its pains and handle its barriers on your landing page πŸš€ P.S. Even if ChatGPT produce something out of algo which may not connect to the real world validation reports, it is definitely worth trying.

I tried with my open source no-code saas software but the result was very desapointing... even after several iterations

I ended up asking this and it made more satisfying results What's a good prompt to ask an AI to create a marketing persona for an open source no-code saas website builder The tool has the same target users as webflow

Hey Sveta, ChatGPT is great as a source of inspiration, idea finding, and brainstorming. However, I wouldn't call the result a "Persona that you can use right away", because, let's face it: It's completely made up out of thin air! You will still have to check whether it's valid before you define positioning, create marketing campaigns, and write marketing copy based on it. But, thanks for finding out this impressive prompt! πŸ˜„ Matthias

@bohlenlabs for sure, that's all my first 2 sentences are about. Can't agree that it's made out of thin air. The results are pretty accurate πŸ˜„

@bohlenlabs @basv While many people often are still skeptical and caution is well appreciated, I do agree that sometimes ChatGPT results can be pretty accurate and mindblowing.

I see the great potential behind the idea of using ChatGPT for the marketing needs and product development. Although it still needs a human supervision, imagine how faster the work will go with the promts like these: - Provide a detailed analysis of social media platforms used by your target audience, including user demographics, popular hashtags, and preferred content formats - Generate a list of top forums and online communities where your target audience is most active and engaged. Include details such as member demographics, interests, and discussion topics And etc. Amazing!

I think although this might be a great way to figure out your customer persona on a base level, it still doesn't beat interviews though

Thanks for sharing this. I used to run player communities in the past, but recently I joined a startup. We provide immersive AI characters to devs who work with Unity Engine (unreal 5 in the pipeline) powered by our in-house tech called KuteEngine. I am building a dev community for it, and it's been a little challenging for me to get the word out. One challenge is that few people have heard of KuteEngine, let alone know how user-friendly it is. The second challenge is that our NPCs are based on behavioral AI, which is a totally new concept in the industry.

I tried it and the answers were pretty good as below. thx. Sure, here is an example of an ideal client profile for your business of providing career discovery tools to high school students, college students, and professionals: Name: Sarah Role: High school student Problem: Sarah is unsure about what career path she wants to pursue and needs guidance to make informed decisions about her future. Pains: Sarah is worried that if she doesn't make the right career choice, she will waste time and money on education that won't lead to a fulfilling career. She feels overwhelmed by the number of options available and feels pressure from her parents, teachers, and peers to make a decision. Jobs-To-Be-Done: Sarah wants to discover her passions and interests, explore potential career paths, and make informed decisions about her future. Motivation: Sarah is motivated to find a fulfilling career that aligns with her interests and values. She wants to feel confident and empowered in her decisions. Trigger: Sarah is approaching the end of high school and is starting to think about her future. She may have recently received advice or guidance from a teacher, parent, or mentor that has sparked her interest in exploring different career paths. Barriers: Sarah may be limited by her access to resources and information. She may also struggle with self-doubt and fear of making the wrong decision. Context: Sarah may have some basic knowledge of popular career paths, but she may not be aware of less common options or the skills and qualifications required for different careers. She may have tried online career quizzes or talked to guidance counselors but may not have found them helpful or comprehensive enough.
