    The highest value in a code-base is its trails and tribulations. When you build something from scratch you go through all the commotions to find that perfect fit that keeps ticking. When you auto convert all that goes out the window and you're inviting all sorts of hurt. Porting is a skill most humans can't even do right. It's an art.
