Confused about what happened with my launch. Can someone who knows help me prevent it in the future?

Hello everyone. I launched my design service project last weekend (Saturday - August 26th). I hadn't meant for it to go out that day. I wanted it to go out on Sunday the 27th. Given the rules, I reached out to support about pulling it down so I could post it the next day rather than wait 6 months to improve and repost. I never received a response, so it just stayed up for days -- receiving no feedback. I was pretty disappointed with how the next day went, as it seemed my launched product wasn't reaching anyone. Fast-forward to today. My project apparently launched this morning? Compared to this past week where I felt pretty confused for having received no feedback, I'm now feeling much better about it because I have received feedback and upvotes. The flipside of this is that it's unfortunate, because I had no idea that it launched. As a result, I'm just now getting back to people who have commented and upvoted the project -- between 12-20 hours after the fact. This isn't great because we all know how important engagement is when driving more attention to a post/launch/etc. Does anyone know what could have caused this to happen? The only thing that I can assume is that I am pretty new to the website, and that there was some code-built delay that wouldn't post my project until a month after I had been a member. Still, I feel as though I should've received some kind of notice that this was the case, because like I said, I unknowingly launched a project today that I thought launched last weekend, and yet was completely unavailable to help promote it and engage. Very frustrating.
