As a product designer, I find aligning user goals with business objectives is truly the key to success. Iterative testing and user feedback help strike the right balance between a seamless experience and achieving monetization targets. I invest a lot of time in communicating with key customers in reviewing latest feature launch to find out their pain points, and also getting on scheduled customer calls with Account Managers to follow their reviews. What strategies have worked best for you?

Talking to customers is definitely the # 1 key. My work is more on the website and commerce side of the things, but the concepts are same. We've built a UIUX suite and design system, and done a lot of research around this. Apart from getting customer POVs, you must also look at the different reasons for which a user would use a specific part of the product. When you don't consider them, the only thing left is to make it look nice. But that doesn't ensure business results.
