founderhunt is like the back-end of producthunt. While producthunt is designed to to gain visibility, authority, and engagement arround your (upcoming) product(s). Founderhunt is designed to build visibility and authorithy as a founder. How? Start making a name in the B2B realm and build a track record social proof and testimonials. Proving you actualy got the experience you claim to have in order to be, and stay, succesful. Ultimately, its purpose is to gain the perceived value on the products you build, and take away the skeptisism of potential clients. When? The Minimum Viable Product is set to launch this week, but i've scheduled the producthunt launch a few weeks later. Why? Because the MVP is not yet what it is suposed to be in order to prove authority. The MVP can be used to form connections in advance, but for in-build track records we need a few more weeks. Still want to join the initial MVP launch to gain connections in advance? Here you can learn more; foundrhunt.com (please note that the videos may mention 'fynder' instead of 'founderhunt' because we just re-branded)

@faindrr I think for this to work, you have to figure out some clever GTM. Bootstrapping Social networks is all about GTM and nothing else really.

@sentry_co start small and launch to the waitlist first, iterate and launch to PH, then advertising. In addition i will start a daily content machine that involves users of the app. (Like interviews and case studies) But overall its just experimenting what works and what not
