Disconnect and distance yourself for objectivity

Hello, Product Hunt crew! 👋 Taking a breather from the hustle – that's the secret sauce I stumbled upon recently, and I couldn't wait to share. I hit pause on Product Hunt, Twitter, and LinkedIn for a hot minute. Not to stress over our product's progress or the next big thing, but to recharge my batteries. And guess what? It worked like a charm. I was able to do this because our user base is climbing steadily to around 150 new users every week, and they are sharing their feedback, likes, and dislikes. Here's why I recommend this little trick. Detaching from the constant buzz gave me room to breathe, reflect, and regain perspective. Amidst our growth, these few days off helped me to see the bigger picture and remain objective. It's not about cutting off from the digital world completely – it's about finding balance. What have you tried for being centered? and being objective around your product? Let me know in the comments. Do you agree?

To be objective, you need to be able to step back from your own personal biases and assumptions.

@jeff_pow_jp that's the crux. As startup founders and co-founders we create stories in our minds. Those stories need to match with reality and objectivity.
