    No. That's inappropriate to force anyone to do something.

    If an employer starts to force, it is a bad employer. It's a different story if they motivate you.

    At my previous job, this happened when the project was coming to an end. I had to work on weekends, holidays and at night. At such moments, you hate your job and burn out. The payment was double, but the mood and mental health was bad

    @ilamanova Probably even a double payment does not cover the burnout and negative emotions that arise in the process of such overwork. And then it turned out somehow to unload after burnout through vacation or something else?

    @millman You're absolutely right! Yes, after the end of the project, I flew to Sri Lanka, surfed, sunbathed, hung out. It took me 5 days to let go of thoughts about work, relax and start enjoying my vacation. The vacation lasted 2 weeks, it's better to go for a month after this
