  • Do people find it a waste of time when hiring for the first time?

We are a startup team that is constantly taking on new talent. But one of the dilemmas we faced was that we often had to spend a lot of time interviewing, but our CEO and various principals still had a lot of work to do And for me, the first few rounds of interviews were a real waste of time, with most of the interviewees being less than reliable and only a handful of good candidates. (Honestly, if we were a well-known company, the percentage of good candidates in the first round of interviews would probably be much higher. (Unfortunately, we are not). So we created this product and offered it at a lower price. There were already some competing products on the market, but they were all so expensive that I thought it would be better to develop one myself. You guys don't need to intentionally vote for us, I mainly want you to help me see what this product doesn't do well enough or what features you expect it to have? Hopefully I can bring you all an AI recruiting tool at a good price. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/vhire

It's common for startups to feel that early rounds of interviews can be time-consuming, especially when the talent pool is inconsistent. To optimize the process, consider pre-screening tools, such as skills tests or assessments, to filter candidates before interviews. This can save time and help ensure only the most qualified candidates move forward. Additionally, implementing a structured interview process with clear criteria may also help in identifying good fits more efficiently.
