  • Do you have a habit of writing your thoughts in a journal?

When I was a kid, life was tough. But one day, a teacher noticed I wasn't quite myself. She had a warm smile and said something that stuck with me forever. "You know," she said, "writing down your thoughts can really help. It's like talking to a friend who won't judge you." I didn't realize it then, but she meant keeping a journal. Writing in my diary became my safe place, where I could be myself without worrying about what others thought. It was like a lightbulb turning on in my head. Slowly, I grew more confident and sure of myself. But life has a funny way of throwing surprises. One day, my private thoughts fell into the wrong hands, and suddenly, they became a joke. I got rid of that diary, hoping to forget the embarrassment. For years, I found comfort in typing my feelings on my phone, only to delete them later. It was like my secret therapy. But eventually, I thought I didn't need it anymore. As time passed, though, I realized I missed having that outlet. So I started writing again, this time on my phone. Pouring my thoughts onto the screen felt like coming home. It's a beautiful thing, putting your feelings into words. Now, as I rediscover the power of writing, I'm reminded of how much it helped me. And I'm part of a team creating an app for people like us who find peace in writing. If you've ever felt the same way, I invite you to join us. Share your stories, your struggles, your victories. We're here to listen, ready to embrace your words.

I used to write down the unique moments in my diary during school days. But later I stopped writing. My grandfather used to write things down in his diary. Today, whenever I get time I read some pages. It gives a great feeling to read about the past. There are specific diaries for festivals like Dusshera, and Holi where he used to write every detail of that specific day( about the relatives who were present, sweets, gifts etc.) since 2000. Now I am also following this.

@abhishek_bhardwaj01 It must be a beautiful experience to read your grandfather's diary and understand how things worked in the past, getting insight into his thoughts. I'm curious to know where he acquired this habit. Writing in a journal is like therapy and such a classic way to share your thoughts. It's good to know you have some vintage memories of your grandfather.

Writing down our thoughts can truly be liberating and therapeutic. It's like having a non-judgmental friend to confide in. The journey of journaling may have its ups and downs, but finding that safe space to express ourselves is invaluable. Kudos to your team for creating an app to help others discover the power of writing!

@deliciousfi Ah, we all had good habits when we were children. As we grow up, our habits tend to decline. To get back into the rhythm let's start writing one sentence first. :D
