Do you have issues with certain words when describing your product?

I have published a dozen tech books in my 20s and 30s, including CGI Primer, Apache Server Bible, Red Hat Linux Server books, etc. I am familiar with publishing content and writing technical materials. However, as I switched from the B2B to the B2C space, I found many words and phrases that could be more interesting. For example: a) Empowering -- I find it overused. b) Revolutionary -- oh my goodness! I see it everywhere, like the kid in the Sixth Sense movie. c) Disruptive -- it disrupts me when I see this used. d) Game-changer - just about everything is. Am I just too old and making a fuss out of nothing?

What you need is a good word Framework, whereby you can get to a Win-Win and perhaps enhance your full stack. Another phenomenon also occurred. People started throwing around 4-mile-long sentences with 30$ words and acronyms no one had heard before. It is sad, that many are so insecure that they need to try and somehow impress strangers online using buzzwords and incoherent sentences to try and sound intelligent. I was speaking with a communication major earlier today, and we laughed at the fact that many people cannot communicate properly, so even if the thing they're releasing etc is groundbreaking (thought i'd sneak one on here :) they lose the audience through a lack of communication. I.e. It doesn't matter if you have the cure for cancer, if no one knows that, because you can't convey the message.
