  • Do you know of a widget to add a video tutorial inside a product?

I want to include a video in the product to ease onboarding. I'm looking for a ready-made solution, like a popup with video, or a minimized video window in a corner of the product, or something similar. Do you know anything like this?

I'm not sure if this'll do it for you, but instead of a video we made a checklist for another product's onboarding. So we "incentivized" the experience, linked the relevant section of our documentation to each checklist item while leaving them the room to just close the checklist if they don't want to do it In some cases this might not be as good as a video tutorial though

Videos recorded with VideoCom can be easily embedded wherever is possible to add an embed code. Or you can share them as a link. It also allows you to add interactive buttons and hotspots.

Hello, the simplest way to do that is to include an embeded youtube video. Here is a How to tutorial : https://support.google.com/youtu... Of course you can include it in a modal but it's more tricky. With html 5, you have this solution : https://developer.mozilla.org/en...

The nice thing about it is that you don't need to upload those videos to YouTube or anywhere like that because all your content is stored in VideoCom Cloud. You have two apps for recording your videos - Capture which is a screen recorder with voiceover and annotations, and Presenter which is a more comprehensive video recording app. Both apps are included in the price ($10 p/m) as well as unlimited Cloud storage and all the features. Not sure if it would work in your case, but give it a try and see if it's any good.
