Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
I find music helps me modulate my focus and energy tbh.
i.e. for mundane work I love to put on deep house or techno to entertain my brain and keep on track while it would otherwise be bored and send me to the kitchen to make another cup of tea... just five minutes after the previous one.

@istiakahmad hahha, poetic!
I'm a fan of Christian Loffler, Ross from Friends, Girls on the Internet, Four Tet, Leon Vynehall, Romare, Jamie xx ofc, Against All Logic, John Talabot... honestly anything from these likely won't disappoint
Yes, I mostly listen to long lo-fi music playlists
App Finder
Only very rarely when the work doesn't require high concentration.
@konrad_sx what do you listen in that times?
Yes, music creates the right mood and mindset
@maria_anosova which kind of music?
@maria_anosova totally agree!
@mahsimadastan it depends on the mood and the tasks set

@alexanderptitsyn No hard Feelings ( :
Sometimes
No, it totally distracts me.

@istiakahmad you spot on, my friend. I consider that this is related to the working mechanism of our brain. Normally, you can't pay equal attention to various activities at the same time. In order to get the maximum result from the work I do, I need to direct my whole attention to it. Therefore, I prefer to do my work in quiet environments.
Lancepilot
@mahsimadastan Yes. Especially, when doing hard stuff, I need silence for concentration.
Lancepilot
Sometimes, but mostly prefer working without it though. I like it quite while working.
Lancepilot
Yes. The right playlist can really set the mood and make the workday more enjoyable.
@radomir_djokovic so share your favorite playlist link :)
@radomir_djokovic totally agree with you!

@freddie_wood What do you listen?
yes. i am usuallylisteningt music
@asif_chowdhury0046 what do you listen to?
It depends, if I need to do some creative work then I will not listen anything. However, if I need to do some dirty works. I sure will listening to some musics
Lancepilot
@sylvia_sheng Totally get that! Creative flow in silence and some musical backup for the gritty tasks—it's like having a soundtrack for every work vibe. What's your top pick for getting down to the nitty-gritty?
@istiakahmad I love coldplay when I do some dirty work lol. You?Any recommendations?
Lancepilot
@sylvia_sheng Absolutely feel you on the Coldplay vibes! 🎶 For some dirty work motivation, I'd recommend throwing in a mix of Muse, Arctic Monkeys, and maybe a dash of Foo Fighters. Let the rock anthems fuel the grind! 🤘💪
@sylvia_sheng what do you listen to?
@mahsimadastan I like Hiphop and R&B. You?
Sometimes, it depends on the task and my mood.
Sometimes.
@darren_chen what do you listen to?
Depends on what I am working on, when doing coding work which I just need to type down I really enjoy listening to Lofi Hip-hop and other music. When I face a problem I need to focus and concentrate I pause my music as it gets distracting.

Got way more but it would get me in trouble posting so many links here 😁 - hope you like some.
Sure do for most tasks, unless it is talking to customers. :-) Deep House, or something else non intrusive. Sometimes one song in a loop, time really flies then!
Lancepilot
@pixelpirat Absolutely! Deep House for the win in the productivity game. One song in a loop, creating that time-warp effect—now, that's a power move! Do you have a favorite go-to track that becomes the anthem for your focused work sessions?
@istiakahmad Changes week by week, Atzepeng by Paul Kalkbrenner is an old time classic for me. An entire go-to album would be Tumult by Meute for me as a brass band covering deep house tracks is just epic :-) Whats your go-to track?
Lancepilot
@pixelpirat Love the versatility! Atzepeng is a timeless classic, and Meute's Tumult is pure genius with those brass vibes. As for my go-to track, it's always shifting, but currently vibing to 'Midnight City' by M83. What about you? Any current favorites?"🎶
@pixelpirat Me to Sofia
Mostly listen the playlist of bts
All the time. Music & me! What would I be without music. Afrobeat, HipHop & UK Grime mostly during the day.
Lancepilot
@istiakahmad For real! I don't really keep a playlist. I just let Shopify or YouTube do the DJ'ing
