I prefer Figma so far. It has lots of feature and a growing community.

They both have pros and cons, so it can be hard to choose. XD is amazing if you use more Adobe products as the integration between them is sweet. Plus, its prototyping framework is stellar. In my past jobs, Figma was king, which made me invest more in that. Now that I work independently, I also ended up picking that one because it's price point is more foregiving for an early stage start-up and the functionality is still superb.

Figma for learning and ease of use whenever required. I find Adobe XD too confusing and complicated for beginners like me.

Figma - it's more accessible across multiple platforms and devices, easier to learn, and has a strong community of collaborators that offer user generated templates, guides and components.
We use Figma. It's so intuitive, easy to use, and great for collaborating between my designers, my developers, my marketers, my clients, and their clients. Overall, we absolutely love Figma.
Both are powerful tools that can get the job done but Figma is definitely my preferred. Figma's investment in new features, their active community, and its performance in terms of speed and multi-player collaboration make it superior to Adobe XD in my opinion.
