I'm curious to hear your thoughts. When it comes to managing your startup's social media accounts/channels, do you prefer to have a digital agency handle it for you, or do you prefer managing it in-house? And why?

For example, we do our marketing in-house, and here's why - When you have a product, you need a dedicated team of people that understands and believes in its efficiency and usefulness, so it's better to have your own marketing team than an agency, which would probably treat your product as just another account. Of course, it depends on the budget and the size of your company, along with long term goals

I prefer to manage in-house as we have a niche target and most agencies are either asking for crazy amount to run our accounts or don't really know how to address the prospects.
I prefer handling social media in-house for more control over brand voice, but agencies can be helpful if you need to scale quickly or lack expertise. Ultimately depends on your team's bandwidth and goals. Curious what tools folks are using to help manage social media efficiently, whether in-house or with an agency?
