New tech companies are changing the time management approach for employees. They allow employees to focus on completing tasks instead of working under restrictive time windows. That can be a flexible and smart option. What do you think?

Tasks! The better one becomes at the task the less time it can take, leaving more room for other tasks. Hours on the other hand create an opportunity to extend the amount of time it takes to do unsavory tasks.

@brittany_salas Agree! I've seen people stretching their tasks to fit time windows. Not good for anybody
Hi! working on tasks - good for my productivity

@anastasiia_z Same here :)

Tasks, love the dopamine effect each time a task is completed.
KoolStories
@tohxuezun I surely feel the same :)
I think it's absolutely smart decision for companies.

@kate_middle It is a productivity asset for companies. Many companies have introduced working four days a week, which has positive results.
Personally, I prefer to work on one task at a time! I'm able to accomplish more without losing my motivation and I feel like I have several fun little challenges to complete.
KoolStories
@roxanne_b I also believe the same but being a co-founder I have to be omnipresent at all tasks.
Definitely based on tasks.
I definitely prefer working in terms of tasks, as ultimately that is what moves the needle.
KoolStories
@shivam_thiagarajan Yes exactly that is the point
Definitely on tasks! I think that working under restrictive time frame is a productivity killer, whereas working on tasks is more result-focused, making a person less stressed and in turn, more efficient.

Working on individual tasks can boost productivity, it's like setting yourself smaller and attainable goals

@anoirhoumou Correct! We are more productive when focused on completing a task
rather than being time bound. :)
Working on tasks increases my productivity.
Working on tasks would be a great option! It helps us work in a more structured way to achieve our goals.
KoolStories
@sanjay_somashekar Yes, it is a much more productive way too.
Very interesting. I always said that you should be paid based on results, not time. So this is definitely something I would prefer!
KoolStories
@magdalena_tran1 Nice point! Results also matter irrespective of one's focus on time or tasks.
I think it's absolutely good decision for good productivity!
I would say it depends on the task. If it's an especially large task, then some of it gets sectioned off into hours. If they're medium to small tasks, then it'll be by task.
KoolStories
@richard_gao2 Makes sense! Also, I have realized that time framing certain task can actually help in boosting productivity.
I have mixed feelings here. Would be great to say 'tasks' but when you're employed full-time and you're not a freelancer you will always have never-ending amount of tasks to fill your time.
KoolStories
@elena_alehno True! The realities of working full time does have its own demerits.
KoolStories
I love working on tasks.

@brianna_bitton Me too
absolute true!
