These are two different approaches. It depends on the type of product/services you have and the goal you want to achieve with your social media.

If you want to increase your engagement and hope to convert users, then you should definitely go with the quality content!

On the other hand, if your goal is to grow your reach and increase your followers, you should engage daily with trending topics and the tone that your target audience mostly loves.

Although, you can achieve both daily engagement and quality content but again it matters on you wether you have the manpower and creative ideas/thoughts to plan out this!
