I doubt it. Those technologies are never going to be as powerful as actual human creativity and intelligence. They may make things easier, but they won't replace the need for real people.

@heyumarkhan Agreed, I've tried using these AI tools to create content, but it's not nearly as powerful as doing it myself or having a real person to talk to. You can be much more particular on the subject you want to target, how you want to present the article to help rank for SEO, etc. I must say though, it's a great tool to generate new ideas.

Definitely, SEO/Blog/Content creation is being disrupted, yesterday new Bing search killed the first (search) page... You see the Bing AI response first (page) and then the search results (next page)... https://share.vijay.cc/o0u9wezx If users get what they want, why would they go for the second page, right? Need to wait and see, how it turns out to be!

No, the search is always the beginning of the knowledge of the unknown.

Not Obsolete, but diffferent. The biggest challenge of LLM based content is ensuring correctness. In my opinion, perceived correctness will become an important ranking factor.

Not obsolete, but ChatGPT and Bard will take a huge chunk out of the SEO monolith in terms of user dependency and revenue. Right now, Google and it's ad wing has a monopoly over the passage of information to the searchers. When and if AI tools start giving sources for their answers the focus will shift. Most people don't like going over several search results for the right kind of information anyway. Getting an opinionated answer for your questions has more value for most queries.

Absolutely Not, I don't think ChatGPT or Google Bard will make SEO obsolete in the near future. SEO is an integral part of marketing and web design and it will continue to be important for some time. Many businesses rely on SEO to reach their target customers, so it will remain a vital part of digital marketing.
