Do you think digital nomadism is good and if so will that bring any benefit to a remote worker?

I always had the idea of becoming a digital nomad. This year I decided to take some actions. But a lot of people say it may or may not stick. So, I like to hear from others what their preference is towards digital nomadism and any experience or tips for me to get started.
