Do you think that AIs will be run by few monopolies?

I am concerned because a single maker or small startup will never be able to compete with giants like google in terms of AI, because they have all data avialable on the internet, needed to train an AI. If AIs are only run by few big comporations, its just a matter of time for them to become corrupted and not accessible by the mass. I think they are opened now to have 'free' beta testers. What are your thoughts?
