Do you think that there is disconnect in how you access content online and save it for analysis?

I consistently run in to an issue where I am researching/planning for a topic from multiple sources and end up copy pasting content. Do you run in to a similar issue and use Google docs or notes app as a Solution? I am working on an idea that acts as a browser bookmark using browser extension to extract content and let you highlight, add notes etc across content from multiple sources. Once you have content you can use features to compare, search to make final decision and your research is saved for later use in case you need to get back to it.
