Does Slack/Teams/GChat make anyone else anxious coming in at the start of the day?

Question

I have used all of the various comm tools in the past, jumping in every morning working with multiple timezones I always 20+ updates to sift and then figure what was important which always took atleast the first hour of the day.

Anyone else experience this?

I hate instant messaging systems at work. They just create chaos with thousands of messages per day, creating distractions every 2 minutes or less
