🔐 Encrypting user data as part of your App development process – a high or low priority?

When you're building new products and applications, are you thinking about how to secure the data that gets gathered and stored in your applications? How top of mind is the security of your user data and would you launch an application that didn't have data encryption built into it? I’m interested to understand on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = not a priority, 10 = very high priority) how important data security and privacy is to your app development process. And if it’s NOT a priority, why that might be? All feedback welcome!!
