Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the growth occurs while you’re climbing it.

Who can disagree with that?

@liviu_nasoi maybe someone who doesn’t like climbing 🤔

Of course. Agreed!

It is about the journey! And the more you climb, the more you will realize that the place you thought of as being the top is just another step towards a whole new peak. And this applies to all areas.

@ionut_anisia exactly! There are always new mountains to climb!
@ionut_anisia you only go up and everything looks more and more magnificent.

@savian_boroanca yes, it is.

No pain, no gain! It's necessary to suffer or work hard in order to succeed 💪

I'm ok with that, but sometimes you start on top of the mountain. Then it's tough to maintain there. More often than not, a rolling ball will follow.
@victor_sava24 that is right
Give me the climb, never the summit.

We live in the age of speed, we don't have any patience of any sort. Because of that, nobody has any respect for work and nobody wants to put the hours in... Everybody wants to be famous, to be successful, to be rich, but nobody wants to do any work in that direction. If somebody does any research into what it takes to be successful, they say "it's too much work, there has to be an easier way". The problem is that everyone promotes how's the view from the top but nobody show what it takes to get there...

I'm in for the game when the sea meets the mountain. 🤘
@amalia_ghenescu @savian_boroanca nicely said

It's the journey that teaches you about the destination.

I think one of the biggest lessons I've learned this year is to enjoy the ride, while trying to reach to highest peak. So, my thought are that the ride is way more important than the final outcome, because all the takeaways and learnings come from the ride. I am curious to find out more on this topic.

Even though all the growth does happen while climbing, I think it's ok not to like it. It's painful, frustrating, and challenging. You go through the hustle FOR the top of the mountain, and with it in mind.
It's ok not to like it - as long as you keep climbing... because when you get to the top, it will be worth it.

Let's all club together and rent a helicopter 🚁 😉

I agree in theory, but we haven't made it to the top of the mountain yet. So it's tough to know what goes on up there. 😅
Of course I'm being half-serious here. If you continue to set more ambitious goals, you'll keep finding new mountains to climb!
True, but in reality, after reaching the top smart people will do more to be at the top of the mountain means as startups be on the top than other chasing other people mountain top

Haha, I 100% agree with all views here on hustling. I myself am a part of a very small team and find each day to be super rewarding.
But aren't there days when you dream of sitting on the top and doing nothing? ;)
Miley had it right :) its about the climb

Re-phrasing the famous saying, "Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey", can say the same about growth.
It's not the point we want to eventually reach. It's the actual process.
We learn through the journey, as we strive to reach the peak sooner! We can continue to be there, but at one point you want to climb a different mountain. You don't think about the challenges because now you can figure it along the way.
