Extensions or tools that are around that can help me know a Youtube video's credibility/validity?

I was having a think and although its not my main form or source of information, i do find myself spending time looking for data or videos around certain topics. Not that most don't do their research, I feel its almost impossible to know other than trusting the creator and looking at general sentiment on comments, view count, like count ratio compared (dislikes optional with other extensions). My question: Are there any tools others know of that can help with this? giving me some sort of visibility before needing to watch a full length clip, even other sites and text (optional) - mainly so when i am looking at certain articles or videos on Youtube in this example - I am able to have a general idea if its worth going through.

Was doing some research, this might a fun project to get stuck in, i will probably have a look around more but i think it might not be a bad excuse to make some sort of open source project or free item that others including myself can benefit off of. For some of the educational and research category content on platforms like Youtube and later other places as well. And in turn might at least have the Youtube algorithm in time aggregate content more often credible.
