Extremely low conversion rate

For May, our website had a conversion rate of 2%, which is pretty low for B2C Apps, wherein all the user has to do is enter their email. I had 100 users in May, out of which only 2 dropped their email. Nearing launch, this is kind of scaring me as to how I will get initial users.
