Feedback needs about free package

Hi, Recently I launched my first AI product named Draw3D. At first, there was a free package. But most of the free users are misusing the tool whereas most of the premium users are using the tool very carefully. For that, I have closed the free package, now my product is only available for pro users. As this is my first product, I'm not sure if this is a good decision or not. After the free version closed I see there is a significant increase in sales as now if someone wants to try, they need to either subscribe to the package or purchase credits for it.
