First time product maker

Hello, I am a first time founder and recently joined Product Hunt. I am ready for a beta release of my app. I have scheduled the release for next week, and am putting up a teaser. I am new to the community, so I don't have a lot of badges or following. Should I still go ahead with the launch next week, or wait to get more connections before launching? Growth and marketing strategies are a new area and skill for me. Thanks for your support! Deepa
