From my experience being active in the discussions is the best way to go. You can tag a product in the discussion by typing "!" & then start typing the name of the product.
Hey Briti if you haven't already think about a Upcoming page (Ship) for your product. In terms of you and potentially your team and your following I'd first think about whether it's worth the time building here or another platform: https://maxwellcdavis.com/is-it-... If Product Hunt is the place then here are some tips for you: https://maxwellcdavis.com/how-to... Hope it helps 😀

Product Hunt has one of the best communities so you should just follow other makers and show appreciation for their work. Also, starting and contributing to discussions will get you far. Finally, if you want to walk the extra mile, consider joining Slack channels and Discord servers on product management, marketing, etc.

I'd suggest creating an upcoming page and just interacting a ton on here, that is a good way to build a following and find people that are interested in your product.

Engaging in discussions, building proper content relevant to many people, creating PH's upcoming page, and sharing it with other members of this community, inspiring and support to others too! Btw, we’re launching in the mid of June. Check out our upcoming PH page: www.producthunt.com/upcoming/eff... Our project is called: Effecto. It’s an app for detailed habits, health, symptoms, and meds tracking. Pretty much for everything that is related to your physical or mental health and every daily factor that can affect you.

It's not that hard it just takes consistency. I'm on PH for a bit more than a month and all I did is show up and engage in discussions. That doesn't mean every discussion, only the ones where I see I can contribute. I made a few posts, didn't go that viral but it's ok. Support products, review some, talk to makers, and repeat. It all builds up.
