I am probably a mix of both, I love my heads down time just cranking out stuff but also highly value the collaboration aspect, bouncing around ideas, discussing, dividing, and conquering.

Both are really important for me: I like exploring ideas and getting to conclusions together with the team, but the focusing, building, specialized part between these two phases are best to be done individually with perhaps some meetings here and there if something needs to be discussed or just to get a bit of that project boosting energy.
