Has anyone else noticed their Kitty Points dropping on Product Hunt? 😵

I’ve been pretty active, but recently, I’ve seen a decline, and I’m wondering if it’s due to deleted accounts, inactive users, or something else entirely. It’s not about the points, but it does make me curious about how the system works. Have you experienced this? Do you have any tips/ideas on keeping them stable or insights into why this happens? Let’s figure it out together! 🐾

Every four years, on the halving day, the amount of new Kitty-points created gets cut in half 😸

Yeah Kitty Points have definitely been harder to come by lately. The halving really puts a damper on accumulation, but it helps keep the Kitty economy sustainable. Gotta keep stacking those points any way you can! 😼💰

I wonder if it's linked to people who upvoted your contributions leaving the platform. If that's the case, it makes sense but still feels a bit discouraging.

Sure, I've noticed that too. It's add because I've been participating at the same level as always.

I'm new, so I'm figuring out how Kitty Points work. Do they fluctuate based on activity or engagement from others?

I've noticed a drop too and assumed it was tied to inactive users or deleted accounts. It would be great if Product Hunt clarified how these points are calculated.
