Yes, recently, but no on regrets.

For me, I set clear timelines / milestones, set up some consulting contracts, and mulled on it for a long time before taking the jump, which was helpful structure since leaving a job leaves you with a lot of ambiguity.

I wouldn't call this a regret, but in hindsight, I would do more to expand my community with other founders and self-employed folks in advance. I'm doing that now, which is great, but at first it can feel isolating.

"Recent" I guess, it was March of this year. And no, no regrets.

I'm lucky that I have enough savings to allow me to travel around, but I understand that that's a privileged position. However, being able to dedicate myself fully to my business has been invaluable and development has increased 100 fold, easily.

@lazar_j1 I agree! It's not the failures that I'm as concerned about, it's all the back end work and the benefits you get from an employer and are missing as a freelancer. It's a "do it yourself" situation every step of the way..
