Has anyone launched a new version? What happens?

Hey folks 👋 A little over a year ago we launched Charlie - our News Chatbot... ... we're about to drop a big update but I'm a bit confused how PH's new product structure works for new releases of products that have launched in the past. Can someone explain? Should we start fresh or do a "New Launch"? Do previous UpVotes, Commenters etc get any kind of notification? Anyone got any experience of this?

Hey Jim, We're going to be doing the same thing at Lazy soon, as we've pivoted quite significantly since our previous launch on Product Hunt. The way I understand it, it is that you could launch it as 'Charlie 2.0' or if it's a complete pivot, keeping it 'Charlie' with a different description would still make sense. Regardless it should still be connected to your product page Charlie. Users that are following that 'product page' will get notified as well. Best of luck with the new launch!

Thanks @calum ... good to know followers will get notified cos that clinches it! Not a massive pivot but a massive update -- we're merging OneSub into Charlie and moving them forward as one app .. Best of luck with the Lazy relaunch. What have you changed?
