Has anyone used an AI SDR?

I see a lot of products that are AI SDRs brag about their revenue figures to get more customers. They also disclose they get huge inbound demand - that is great for them. In one way though, their own outbound product is not covering their pipeline? From talking to some ex customers, I got to know that they stopped using those altogether but did not opt out due to yearly contract as most executive teams don't care. They will churn out at the end of the year. Curious if anyone had a similar experience
