When I have to wait for others in order to move the project forward, I hoped I could get all the work done myself π₯² Anyone with me or any solutions for me!?

Here's the update:
Thank you so much contributors! I've got some wonderful tips from this issue. Would like to share them with you guys:
1οΈβ£ Communication. When you feel that things are not going well and your team is not doing right, talk to them. It can be asking them nicely how things are going, and express your concern.
2οΈβ£ Build your own team. Maybe the team you're working with does not live up to your expectation. If there's a chance, look for people you can work with and build up an ideal team.
Would love to see more suggestions! Thanks!

Teamwork can be stressful for your team also if you expect constant updates and ping them constantly.
Have your tried working with your team Asynchronously? I created a post for the community on Async communication. Maybe it will be helpful for you and your team. Give it a read.

@manas_sharma Thanks for the sharing. That's a helpful post. My question is, what kinds of team are more suitable for working asynchronously?

I think Async communication can be a really effective tool with teams that have more Individual Contributors. Like Engineering, Product, Marketing, etc.
Since ICs usually want to work in peace and continuous distractions in forms of notifications, taps on the shoulder, or meetings can make it really hard for them to focus on getting their work done. They would benefit from Async the most.
Apart from the department. I'd add that it can be really helpful for distributed teams where people work in different time-zones. Could be remote team, or teams spread out in different countries.
No, my team was always there to help me. But if you are having a issue please do find a solution ASAP
@joshin_varghese Thanks for your sharing. You must have a great team with you. Yes I think more communication and find the right tool to help us will be a solution.
Team work makes the dream work
I am more productive while working alone.
@sarah_playford Yes I feel that sometimes. And with the help of tools I can handle things alone. But sometimes teammates can help me review things that I didn't notice. So still it depends.
I felt this way a lot in high school, where I did most of the work myself because I didn't trust my team to get it done on time.
However, in university and work, people seem to be a lot more invested in their work.
I think the best way of establishing good teamwork is finding a good team.
No matter how good your communication and leadership skills are, you won't be able to do well if you're put in a bad team.
Teamwork can be a useful tool for achieving a common goal, especially in situations that require a significant number of co-workers to work together, but it is not always the best approach in every situation. It is up to individual people and teams to identify the most effective ways to work together to achieve their goals.
The key is communication. If you feel that way you should communicate with your teammates. It's going to help a lot with that.
@joanduarte Thanks for your suggestion, that's true. We still need more communication to sort things out.
Yeah sometimes team work is a complete mess.
I can totally relate! Maybe you can ask them nicely on how things are going on their end? Maybe they need help or something came up that they cannot finish the assigned task for them. βΊοΈ
@gladys_atienza If that doesn't work, I find it best to build your own team. The volume of work was presented to be done by a team, so rather than doing it all yourself or relying on the ineffective team you're presented with, you could find others to help you.
@gladys_atienza @richard_gao2 That's true. I think the best thing is to know my team and know the way they work, find where they can help me.
