Have you ever invested money in an app that never kicked off? How did it feel?

I certainly have and I'm sure many other people here have as well. The way that I think about it is that the money I spent went to learning a valuable lesson -- It's incredibly important to validate a problem & product before you actually build the solution.
Apologies for the shameless plug, but I've written two articles on this topic that you might find useful:

@benjamin_katz2 your point on validating a problem and product is spot on. It's the only way to learn.
I'll check out the articles π―
I'm spending like 30$ monthly on that app https://play.google.com/store/ap...
for now i can't gain nothing from that but if i stop funding it i kill my dream so i will go on. I don't have bad feelings
@davidwin No, at the moment the expenses are not a danger to the finances, but I'm ready to risk a lot. I don't want to let the project die at the first economic difficulty. You have to know how to risk everything, I'm only 26 if I risk everything now I'm hurt but not like I was 40. In the end every time we get in the car we literally risk our lives, yet we consider it acceptable. I belive in my social network and i'm ready to risk a lot πͺπͺπͺ
@alex_tiglas a lot of us here can relate to going broke for our dreamsβ€οΈ but I hope you are wisely investing in it and not letting feelings get in the way?
