I'm an MD with a background in worker health. An idea in organizational psychology is that creating a workplace culture where people are encouraged to express emotions can really help with productivity. This might be intuitive, but it's often overlooked/dismissed and is even more challenging for remote team members. It's even more important these days when people have been going through hard times. Emojis have actually become an easy way to invite more emotion in virtual workspaces! The key is to avoid a culture of fear or suppression, and that starts with leadership setting the example. @anthonypham Thank-you for sharing your insights and the article!
When pandemic started I was working in holding company. To surprise of each company CEO the efficiency and productivity was keept despite homeoffices / remote working etc.
@divyamundhra No problem at all. Beeing productive at home depends on many factors. Corporate may need to do something to increase it, but sometimes without a result. In some cases corporate need to do... nothing!
