    I have a tool called Tamly that works only with a Chrome extension. Is there a way that I can use this to my advantage in customer acquisition?

    Interested to read the answers!! I also have a Chrome Extension, for travel. What has been working really well for me is answering Quora questions related to what my extension does (getting better deals on accomodations by booking direct) and then promoting those answers. While it is paid, you can use a small budget to test it out.

    As a early member at honey and sold a company to Rakuten , I would tell you chrome extension marketing is very hard and costly. At the end, you need to build a growth engine with paid ads that had 3-6 months pay back period so you can really scale it.

    @m_guastavino Hello Marina, To be honest, it's a case-by-case answer and requires conducting numerous AB tests on the landing page, messaging, advertisement channels, and target audience. You're essentially building engines that work specifically for your product, with the aim of delivering the right messaging to the right audience through the right channels. So, your focus should be on achieving these three key aspects: getting them "Right." That being said, Facebook/Meta offers more attributes and interest groups that you can segment and target. It also provides valuable early signals to assess the relevance of your messaging and audience. Hence, it's a good starting point for your AB testing. Once you have identified the right audience and effective messaging on FB/Meta, you can then expand and display it on platforms like Google or other channels you believe would be effective. By observing if these users become active or paid users and evaluating their retention, you can gain valuable insights. Another effective approach is directing new users to different landing pages to test your messaging, helping with product positioning, and identifying the right audience. Keep in mind that a product may not resonate with Group B but could be a perfect match for Group A. Therefore, running ads can be a helpful tool in the journey of discovering PMF, which should be viewed as a process rather than a definitive result. I hope these insights prove valuable to you.     1. Start with doing SEO on your website through blogs, answers to people questions, etc. 2. Do link building on your main website and launch on as many platforms as possible. 3. Create company profile and be active on all social media platforms daily. 4. Find influencers that have low following (10-50k) but good engagement rate and pay for the promotion. This will create Brand Awareness and "MIGHT" get you some downloads. 5. Also, consider creating ChatGPT plugin of your extension for broader reach. 6, Never do PPC campaigns and Paid Ads, since there are no way effective for the extensions.
