@semigrownkid Absolutely! Planning is an essential aspect of human survival and progress. While it is important to plan for the future, but we need to finding a balance between planning and living in the present Sometimes, we tend to overthink about things beyond our control, constantly speculating about the future, how it will unfold, and how things will work out. It's important to remind ourselves to stay present and focus on what we can control because its only create stress so, appreciating the journey as it unfolds. Finding this balance can lead to a more mindful and happy life😊

@neha_8 Agreed! I heard people say mediation helps a lot, but I couldn't get into it. My brain just can't stop thinking lol

Honestly, my only way is to just stay dead focused on a single task so that I don't have anything else to worry about. For the last year this has been the development of my startup ezml which is actually launching on PH right now: (https://producthunt.com/posts/ezml) . I would really appreciate if you guys could check it out and give some feedback on the work we have put our blood, swear, and tears into... literally :)

Embrace mindfulness practices such as meditation, yoga, and focused breathing, indulge in activities you love, maintain a journal to organize your thoughts, set short-term realistic goals, and remind yourself to appreciate the present moment, as this can help stay present and circumvent overthinking about the future.

Apps for meditation like Headspace or Calm can shift the game significantly. Make time for your favorite hobbies and pastimes as well. Sometimes all it takes to stop the future-tripping and return to the present is a nice book or a stroll through the park.

I really don't see anything wrong with thinking about the future. But, of course, a balance is needed.

To stay present and avoid overthinking about the future, focus on what's happening right now. Pay attention to your surroundings, feelings, and actions. When thoughts about the future come up, gently bring your attention back to the present moment. Practice mindfulness techniques, like deep breathing or meditation, to help you stay grounded. Remember, it's okay to plan for the future, but try not to dwell on it too much. Take things one step at a time and trust that you'll handle whatever comes your way when the time comes.

I would suggest growing your confidence level and self-reliance. Also to start paying attention to the current moment: colors, smells, tastes, moves, textures, hundreds of things that we actually pass away almost all the time
