That’s exactly what I want to know too, curious to see what others say. My product is a tool for transcribing audio and video , SubEasy.ai. I usually search for related questions on Reddit, like ‘how to transcribe a video?’, and then I reply with my product recommendation. While this method is pretty targeted, it takes a lot of time, and there aren’t always perfectly matched questions to respond to.

Promoting on Reddit is a great way but never never directly promote your product
When promoting your product on the subreddits there, follow the communit rules.
NOT to sell but SHARE—Share valuable lessons, help others, participate in content you feel needs more clarification, and engage in meaningful discussions. Naturally, plug your tool in the context that it can help others and contribute where genuinely helpful/informative.
Just give value.
Share stories.
Share lessons.
But never promote.
Make it as interesting as possible

Try to be as genuine as possible. Reddit is brutal.
Someone else mentioned stories. That's great (good marketing advice in general)
Be careful when link dropping. Redditors hate self promotion. Try to find examples of how others have successfully self promoted.

Some strategies: 1) Do an AMA to connect with Redditors and build trust. 2) Share insider stories & learnings about your product journey. 3) Offer special promos/discounts for Redditors. 4) Partner with Reddit influencers in your niche. 5) Sponsor relevant subreddits. Just remember to always provide value and avoid spamming. Building genuine relationships is key!
